This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois and west
central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible through early evening. While
severe weather is not expected, any storm that develops will be
capable of locally heavy rainfall and isolated flash flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Scattered thunderstorms will develop ahead of a cold front late
Tuesday afternoon and evening...primarily along and north of a Macomb
to Bloomington line. A few of these storms may produce damaging wind
gusts, large hail, and locally heavy rainfall.

A large cluster of thunderstorms will develop across the Plains
Tuesday night, then track eastward toward Illinois by dawn Wednesday.
While these storms will be in a weakening phase, gusty winds will be
possible along and west of the I-55 corridor.

Additional thunderstorms will develop along a cold front Wednesday
afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a few
tornadoes will be possible. The most likely location for initial
storm development Wednesday afternoon will be east of the Illinois
River.

A period of hot and humid weather is expected by the end of the week.
High temperatures in the lower to middle 90s will create heat index
values in excess of 100 degrees by next Saturday and Sunday. This
may cause heat related illness for those without effective cooling,
especially for sensitive individuals.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
