...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN LOGAN COUNTY THROUGH
115 AM CDT...

At 1245 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hartsburg, or 7 miles north of Lincoln, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lincoln, Emden, Hartsburg, and Lawndale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 0 and 10.
 Interstate 55 between mile markers 123 and 138.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
