  Southern Coles County in east central Illinois...
  East central Shelby County in central Illinois...
  Northern Cumberland County in east central Illinois...

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1026 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Neoga,
  moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Neoga around 1030 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Janesville and Toledo.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 57 between mile markers 177 and 185.
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 118 and 119, and between mile
markers 121 and 126.

This also includes Fox Ridge State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
