...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS
MORNING FOR DELAWARE, NORTHERN HENRY AND RANDOLPH COUNTIES...

At 650 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. One road had over 3 feet of water in the road
within Muncie. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The
expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional
rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

  Muncie, Winchester, Yorktown, Union City, Chesterfield, Albany,
  Eaton, Daleville, Parker City, Farmland, Lynn, Gaston, Selma,
  Ridgeville, Sulphur Springs, Mooreland, Mount Summit, Saratoga,
  Losantville and Modoc.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
