...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

  Wabash River at Riverton.

.The Wabash River at Riverton is rising to just above minor flooding
due to heavy rainfall that moved through central Indiana this
evening. Flood stage is expected to be reached shortly and should
fall back below flood by by Friday Morning. A few additional showers
are possible tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement should be issued Thursday afternoon by around 300
PM EDT /200 PM CDT/.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Some agricultural lands underwater.  A few
  rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up
  Minnow Slough.  High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in
  Palestine.  A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in
  Sullivan County may flood.  Water level is at the top of most
  makeshift levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 PM EDT Wednesday /10:00 PM CDT Wednesday/ the stage
    was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    just after midnight tonight to a crest of 15.1 feet tomorrow
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
