Wabash River at Riverton. .The Wabash River at Riverton is rising to just above minor flooding due to heavy rainfall that moved through central Indiana this evening. Flood stage is expected to be reached shortly and should fall back below flood by by Friday Morning. A few additional showers are possible tonight. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in Sullivan County may flood.
