...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Clinton,
northeastern Hendricks, northern Marion, southeastern Boone and
Hamilton Counties through 545 AM EDT...
At 502 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles southeast of Frankfort to near Lebanon
to 14 miles northwest of Brownsburg. Movement was southeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Lawrence, Brownsburg,
Lebanon, Zionsville, Speedway, Westfield, Cicero, Pittsboro,
Whitestown, Sheridan, Arcadia, Meridian Hills, Clermont, Rocky
Ripple, Lizton, and Williams Creek.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
