...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Vigo,
northern Clay, southern Parke and southeastern Vermillion Counties
through 1100 PM EDT...

At 1014 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rockville, or 19 miles north of Terre Haute, moving south at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Terre Haute, Brazil, Clinton, Rockville, Fairview Park, Seelyville,
Montezuma, Knightsville, Rosedale, Harmony, Staunton, Carbon, Mecca,
Bloomingdale, Center Point, Riley, Fontanet, Bowling Green,
Bridgeton, and Cory.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 9 and 29.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
west central Indiana.
