...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Dangerous swimming conditions expected.

* Waves of 2 to 4 feet will subside to 1 to 3 feet tonight. Waves
  may come up suddenly within any thunderstorms, and could swamp
  piers.

* Dangerous currents are expected, even during lower wave heights.

* WHERE...Northern Berrien and Southern Berrien counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Strong currents can pull swimmers into deeper water
  and high waves can sweep people off piers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
Do not venture out on piers.
