.DISCUSSION...

Light westerly winds shift to the south-southwest today into Friday.
Southwest winds strengthen on Saturday afternoon with gusts up to
around 25 to 30 mph possible at times. Gusty southwest winds shift
northwest on Sunday then lighten up through the start of next week.
Chances for rain showers return Saturday afternoon into Sunday
morning as a low pressure system moves through the area. After that,
the next chance will be Tuesday night. Minimum afternoon humidities
today will range from 40 to 55 percent (driest south of US 30), then
remain above 50 percent until Sunday, where they fall to around 30 to
45 percent. Highs will be in the 50s and low 60s today and Friday
before rising into the mid-upper 60s Saturday. Cooler air returns
behind the system, with highs falling back into the 40s and low 50s
through the middle of next week.
