* Until 1245 AM EDT.

* At 1044 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 25 nm east of Winthrop Harbor to 18 nm northeast of
  Montrose Harbor to 8 nm northeast of Wilmette Harbor, moving
  southeast at 50 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  New Buffalo and Michigan City.
