.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 211 AM CST Thu Nov 13 2025
Through tonight: Continued dry and warmer than normal through the
period. Northwest flow aloft will continue across our region through
tonight. Latest surface analysis had a >1022mb high centered over
the northern Gulf to our southeast. This surface high will shift to
the west and weaken through tonight. The resulting south to
southwest flow across our CWA today will work to gradually increase
low level moisture from the southwest. There will be a few more
clouds around today than there were yesterday but temperatures will
top out nearly ten degrees warmer than normal in the mid to upper
70s over most of the CWA. Tonight a stronger >1024mb high to our
northeast will ridge back to the southwest across our CWA. This will
help result in coolest morning lows across our northeast zones again
with the warmest over our southwest, but temperatures will bottom
out well above normal from the upper 40s northeast to the mid 50s
west. /22/
Friday through Wednesday night...High pressure at the surface and
aloft will continue on Friday from a surface high centered over the
northern gulf. With southwest flow, high temperatures will be in the
mid to upper 70s. Little will change on Saturday into Sunday, but a
weak frontal boundary will move across the area on Sunday. Currently
it looks like it will have very little moisture to work with, so do
not expect any showery activity. Some moisture will increase on
Monday into Tuesday, with a slight chance for showers or
thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday. /15/

.AVIATION...
(06Z TAFS)
Issued at 1007 PM CST Wed Nov 12 2025
VFR flight categories and light to variable winds, generally under
10mph, will prevail through majority of the TAF period. MVFR to
IFR vsby restrictions can`t be ruled out (due to BR or FG), with
the onset just prior to daybreak between 13/09-10Z Thursday and
lifting around 13/13Z. Main areas of concern are GTR (due to
stalled frontal convergence in the vicinity) and possible near
MEI, HBG and PIB. VFR conditions are expected afterwards into
Thursday aftn. /DC/
