.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 103 PM CDT Mon Sep 1 2025

Temperatures have cooled a bit with highs in the upper 80s for
the early week and will slowly warm over the next week before a
major cooldown next weekend. A chance for afternoon showers persists
throughout the week, with our highest chances Tuesday and Wednesday
afternoon with a broad trough anchored off to our east funneling in
a couple of minor disturbances.

A shift in the pattern is expected mid to late week which will
dampen our chances for rain/thunderstorms to finish out the week.

Overnight lows are expected to hover in the mid 60s throughout the
week paving the way for early fall weather late this week into next
week. /OAJ/
