The National Weather Service in Jackson has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern East Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana...
  Southwestern Morehouse Parish in northeastern Louisiana...
  Northern Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana...
  Southwestern West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana...

* Until noon CDT.

* At 1055 AM CDT, the public reported flash flooding in Bastrop and
  Collinston. Between 5 and 8 inches of rain have fallen, especially
  in southern Morehouse and northern Franklin Parishes. Additional
  rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
  Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Public reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bastrop, Rayville, Epps, Collinston, Oak Ridge, Warden, Darnell,
  Monticello and Start.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
