Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
520 AM CDT Mon Aug 18 2025

.DISCUSSION...Patchy light fog will be possible this morning and
Tuesday mornings but dense fog is not anticipated. Ridging surface
and aloft centered just west of the area will remain dominant through
mid week leading to a build up of heat and humidity. Isolated to
scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible mainly for
areas along and south of I-20. Lower temperatures and greater
rain chances are expected for the end of the week.
