Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
254 PM CDT Sat Jun 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...Patchy early morning fog will be possible Sunday and
Monday morning especially in areas that receive significant
rainfall. A moist airmass will remain in place and lead to mostly
diurnally driven rain chances through next week. Several upper
level disturbances will move over the region during the heat of
the day to enhance the coverage of convection at times. Afternoon
highs will be slightly cooler Sunday and Monday but show a gradual
warming trend to above normal through the week.
