.DISCUSSION...
No significant fog development is anticipated over the next few
days. Dry weather will prevail over the next several days in the
wake of a weak cold front. With humidity forecast to fall around
and below 30 percent and wind gusts up to 15 to 20 knots in
portions of the Northwest Mississippi, Northeast Louisiana, and
Southeast Arkansas districts today, there will be limited wildfire
danger in those areas during the afternoon. Higher humidity and
lighter winds are anticipated for Friday. However, with a
continued lack of rainfall, fire danger will need to be monitored
closely heading into next week.
