Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
137 PM CST Wed Nov 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...Areas of dense fog are likely over the southern
districts again Thursday morning while patchy dense fog is
possible over the east. At least patchy fog development will be
possible in the south Friday morning. Ridging surface and aloft
will remain dominant through Thursday but a A disturbance to the
north will bring low chances of rain to the northern districts
Thursday and Thursday night. A change to a wetter pattern is
expected Friday. This will help maintain rain chances over
portions of the area through Tuesday.
