Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
551 AM CDT Fri Aug 29 2025

.DISCUSSION...Rain chances will diminish this morning, but low
end rain chances will continue through the weekend as warm and
humid air remains over the forecast area. Where skies can clear
at night, fog will be a concern. This especially seems to be
the case late Friday night into early Saturday morning for
northern and central portions of the area.
