Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
208 PM CDT Fri Jun 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...Very warm and humid conditions will persist across
the area throughout the weekend. Each day scattered to numerous
showers and storms can be expected, with activity decreasing in
coverage during the evening hours as daytime heating wanes.
While widespread fog development is not expected, localized
patchy fog cannot be ruled each morning, especially in low-lying
river valleys, sheltered areas, and fire weather districts that
receive efficient wetting rains.
