Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi

.DISCUSSION...patchy dense fog is expected over the eastern and
southern half of the area Friday morning. Although there is low
chances of light rain across the northern districts this afternoon
and evening, rain chances will increase areawide after midnight
ahead of an approaching cold front. The cold front will move
across the area Friday night and Saturday. A stronger cold front
is expected to move across the area Monday night into Tuesday,
with heavier rainfall totals of 1.5 to 2.5 inches on average.
Yet another cold front will move across the area Wednesday into
Thursday and bring much cooler and drier air for the end of the
week. The much warmer than normal temperatures this afternoon and
tonight will show a cooling trend through the end of next week.
