Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
120 AM CDT Thu Jun 12 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Very warm and humid air support mainly afternoon and evening
shower and storms each day through the foreseeable future. There
is limited concern for significant fog, but patchy fog can`t be
ruled out in low-lying river valleys, sheltered areas and fire
weather districts that receive efficient wetting rains. Overall,
the weather will be typical of early summer. /DC/
