Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi

.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible
through tonight as a cold front pushes into the area. Patchy fog
is possible ahead of the front late tonight into Saturday morning.
Clouds and patchy light rain and sprinkles will persist into
Saturday. Cooler and drier conditions will prevail through the
remainder of the weekend. A stronger cold front is expected to
move across the area Monday night into Tuesday, with heavier
rainfall totals of 1.5 to 2.5 inches on average. The seasonably
warm conditions will switch to a cooling trend through the end of
next week.
