Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
155 PM CDT Sun Jun 15 2025

.DISCUSSION...Patchy early morning fog will be possible Monday
morning across the southeast half of the area and then across the
south Tuesday morning; especially in areas that receive
significant rainfall. A moist airmass will remain in place and
lead to mostly diurnally driven rain chances through next week.
Several upper level disturbances will move over the region during
the heat of the day to enhance the coverage of convection at
times. Afternoon highs will be slightly cooler than normal
Monday and Tuesday but then a gradual warming trend to above
normal temperatures is expected through the weekend.
