Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
1250 PM CDT Wed Jun 25 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Patchy early morning fog is possible Thursday morning especially
in the south. Warmer than normal temperatures and higher than
normal humidity will continue through the weekend with slightly
cooler temperatures and greater rain chances expected early next
week. There will be mainly isolated to scattered diurnally driven
convection across the southern half of the area through Friday.
Greater rain chances are expected for the weekend as a low
pressure system approaches the area from the southeast.
