...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL TENSAS PARISH IN
NORTHEASTERN LOUISIANA AND WEST CENTRAL CLAIBORNE COUNTIES THROUGH
NOON CDT...

At 1114 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Lake Bruin, or 9 miles northwest of Port Gibson, moving
east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Tensas
Parish in northeastern Louisiana and west central Claiborne Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious
injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors
during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
