...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Florida, including the following
  counties, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns and southeast Georgia,
  including the following counties, Camden and Glynn.

* WHEN...Until 630 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 307 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jacksonville, St. Marys, Brunswick, St. Simons Island,
    Fernandina Beach, Kings Bay Base, Ponte Vedra Beach,
    Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Yulee, Neptune Beach,
    Amelia City, Talbot Island, Little Talbot Island, Jekyll
    Island, Mayport, St Simons Island Village, Sea Island, San
    Pablo and Country Club Estates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
