...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...

A developing low pressure system off the east coast of FL which will
track to the northeast of the area Saturday, coupled with a high pressure
ridge to the north, will provide a strong pressure gradient over the area,
resulting in a myriad of hazardous conditions at the beach both Friday
and Saturday.

Sustained winds of 30 to 35 mph, with gusts of 45 mph will be common
both Friday and Saturday. A few gusts to 50 mph can not be ruled out, especially
when accompanied by showers.

Showers will be common at the beach both days, along with the chance
for thunderstorms.

In addition, the strong onshore flow may cause coastal flooding around times
of high tide.

A gale warning is also in effect for the coastal waters.

A high risk of rip currents, and high surf advisory are also in effect.
