Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Thursday afternoon. A dry front will push through around 0830 and bring a much drier airmass with it, which will result in afternoon humidity to near critical levels under full sun. Northwesterly winds will begin as soon as the inversion begins to mix out, around 1000. Anticipate gusts to reach near 20 mph during the entire afternoon but the maximum gusts are likely during the 1400-1600 window. Smoke dispersions will be very high but more so due to the winds and less so instability. Warming temperatures are expected with lingering dry air on Friday. This will lead to potentially critical low humidity once again. Winds will ease up and shift east-northeasterly to easterly as high pressure builds to the north. The big difference at HWY 82 compared to Pineland Rd will be the sea breeze late in the day around 1800. .THURSDAY...
