Westerly winds will continue to bring isolated light showers into the area, with shower and thunderstorm coverage increasing to 30-40% around 2pm through 7pm. Temperatures later this afternoon into the early evening will approach the upper 80s, with maximum heat indices in the mid 90s. Westerly winds will increase to about 10-15 mph this afternoon, decreasing after sunset.
