Areas of fog, dense at times, expected to persist until mid to late morning before lifting with very light and variable winds. High pressure ridge axis will weaken just south of the area as a cold front slowly approaches from the northwest. Winds become west to northwesterly in the afternoon under mostly clear skies with scattered high clouds. Very light surface and transport winds will create poor daytime maximum dispersions. Min RH values will be 45-50 percent. Friday night, the front will sink south of the site area with winds increasing late overnight from the northeast to 5-10 mph under increasing cloud cover, but fog not expected. Saturday will be mostly cloudy and breezy with northeast winds 8-15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph expected as strong high pressure builds in from northwest. Increasing transport winds will place max daytime dispersions in the fair range. .FRIDAY...
