.DISCUSSION...

A cold front will weaken and shift south of the site this afternoon
with scattered showers occasionally moving onshore from the Atlantic.
Northeasterly winds will become breezy as strong high pressure builds
to the north behind the front with winds 15-25 mph gusting to around
30 mph. Skies will remain mostly cloudy.

Tonight, winds will remain elevated as the high continues building
in from the north with showers occasioanlly moving onshore overnight.
Skies will remain mostly cloudy with winds 12-18 mph gusting to
25-30 mph.

Sunday, the high will move more to the north northeast, but winds
will continue to be breezy 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph along
with bands of showers moving onshore at times as a disturbance
aloft moves in from the southwest. The showers could produce locally
heavy rainfall amounts up to 2 to 3 inches Sunday afternoon into early
evening.
