A cold front will approach from the northwest today and produce scattered to numerous thunderstorm coverage as the Gulf seabreeze moves over the site by late this afternoon with light west to southwest winds 5-10 mph. The storms will linger through sunset with activity ending around midnight. As the front stalls over the area Friday, numerous to widespread showers and storms will develop in the midday to afternoon hours before ending in the early to mid evening hours. Gusty and erratic winds will occur in stronger storms, potentially 45-55 mph today and Friday. Patchy, shallow ground fog is possible each morning through Friday morning.
