...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER THE WATERS...

  Coastal waters from Altamaha Sound to Fernandina Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

At 1044 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was
located 13 nm south of Tug Rio Caroni, or 22 nm east of St. Simons
Island, moving northeast at 30 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
