COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Waynesville, or 9 miles east of Nahunta, moving
southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph, excessive cloud-to-ground
         lightning, and minor flooding due to heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
         occurring. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Nahunta, Patterson, Dock Junction,
Offerman, Country Club Estates, Thalmann, Sea Island, and Everett.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
