...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL ST. JOHNS AND
SOUTHEASTERN DUVAL COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...
At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bayard, or 7 miles east of Fruit Cove, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
Locations impacted include...
Ponte Vedra Beach, Palm Valley, Sawgrass, Nocatee, Bayard, and
Durbin.
