...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN FLAGLER...
SOUTHWESTERN ST. JOHNS...CENTRAL PUTNAM AND CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES
THROUGH 200 PM EDT...

At 112 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Picolata to 6 miles northwest of Bunnell.
Movement was west at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and minor flooding due to heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Palatka, Green Cove Springs, Bunnell, Crescent City, Pomona Park,
Hastings, East Palatka, Andalusia, George`s Lake, and Picolata.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
