The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Alachua County in northern Florida...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 706 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near High Springs,
  or 12 miles southwest of Worthington Spring, moving south at 15
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  High Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Jacksonville.
