At 705 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that earlier thunderstorms produced heavy rain in Meta. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, and a rain gauge measured 1.78 inches of rain in one hour in Meta. While it may not be raining at the moment, additional rainfall is likely later this evening. Flash flooding is likely ongoing, and this additional rainfall may allow it to continue.
