Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
Issued by National Weather Service Charleston WV
318 AM EDT Wed May 29 2024

.DISCUSSION...A few showers or thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon as a weather disturbance shifts through the Ohio Valley, but
coverage is expected to be isolated in nature. Winds in the afternoon may be
intermittently gusty under a mix of clouds and sunshine. Beyond Wednesday,
temperatures are expected to remain below normal for the remainder of the
work week, with dry conditions and plenty of sunshine. Friday relative
humidity will dip into the 20 percent range area wide with the dry
air mass in place. Warmth, humidity, and a chance of showers and storms will
return to the area over the weekend into early next week..
