Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
354 PM EST Wed Nov 19 2025

.DISCUSSION...A cold front will drop south of the area this evening
and then stall south of the Commonwealth and result in mainly dry
weather through Thursday afternoon. However, this boundary will lift
back into the Commonwealth on Thursday night and Friday. This
boundary will interact with passing upper level disturbances to bring
at least a wetting rain areawide from Thursday night into the
weekend. Generally mild temperatures should prevail for Wednesday
through the weekend.
