Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
252 PM EST Thu Nov 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...High pressure begins to depart on Friday and a warm
front may combine with a passing disturbance and a milder and more
moist airmass for few sprinkles or isolated showers. More in the way
of light isolated to scattered showers are anticipated on Friday
evening and Friday night. Temperatures should warm to 10 to 15
degrees above normal for Saturday and a moderation in humidity is
also anticipated ahead of a cold front. Winds will be breezy in the
afternoon out of the southwest, with gusts up to 25-30 mph possible.
Drier weather is forecast for Sunday into Monday. However,
additional passing systems should result in the return of unsettled
weather through at least the middle of next week.
