031 FNUS53 KJKL 210743 FWFJKL Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky National Weather Service Jackson KY 343 AM EDT Fri Jun 21 2024 .DISCUSSION...Strong high pressure overhead will keep hot and dry conditions over eastern Kentucky through at least Saturday. Though unlikely, a stray shower or storm can not be completely ruled out, especially along the high terrain near and along the Virginia border. A disturbance will then bring increased thunderstorm chances to the area Sunday through, peaking Sunday evening. Winds will remain light through the period.
