Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
241 PM EDT Tue Oct 7 2025

.DISCUSSION....A cold front will move across the Commonwealth through
tonight. Moisture will be seasonably high ahead of this boundary
making locally heavy rainfall possible, especially north of the
Mountain Parkway and west of I-75 - along with a few
thunderstorms. Much cooler and drier air then arrives behind the
front Wednesday continuing through the rest of the work week.
