Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
256 PM EST Sat Nov 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...Clouds conditions slowly improve this evening with
the progression of a cold front through the area. Surface high
pressure will build into the region and remain in place through
the weekend into early next week. Decent mixing Sunday will allow
for wind gusts around 15 mph at the surface. A surface low will
bring widespread rain chances back to the region for Tuesday.
Surface high pressure returns for Thanksgiving with cooler and
drier conditions.
