Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
622 AM EDT Sat Jun 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...Strong high pressure overhead will begin to shift
away today and tonight ahead of a cold front. A few locations may
see isolated to widely scattered showers or thunderstorms this
afternoon, especially near the Virginia border. Better shower and
thunderstorm chances come to all of eastern Kentucky on Sunday
and Sunday evening as the cold front approaches. High pressure
briefly returns behind the cold front with rain-free weather for
early in the new work week.
