Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
620 AM EDT Fri Sep 26 2025

.DISCUSSION...A lingering storm system will keep chances for
light showers in the forecast today and Saturday, especially for
southeastern counties. The weather will improve on Sunday with
more sunshine and mainly dry conditions. Looking ahead to next
week, the forecast is very uncertain as we monitor a distant
tropical system.
