National Weather Service Jackson KY
527 AM EDT Wed Sep 3 2025

.DISCUSSION...A weak surface low will bring showers and thunderstorms
to the area through this afternoon. Weak high pressure builds in for
the overnight before another system brings a cold front through the
area. Wetting rain will exist with both features. A second cold front
is expected to bring more wetting rain for Friday into Saturday
before high pressure builds in for the weekend. Below average
temperatures and dry weather are expected for the weekend going into
early next week.
