Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
326 AM EDT Sun Sep 20 2026

.DISCUSSION...Unseasonably warm and muggy conditions will continue
today and Monday as a frontal boundary wavers over the region.
This will support a continued hit-and-miss threat shower and
thunderstorm threat. A potent cold front arrives on/around
Tuesday, with rounds of more widespread rainfall.
