Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
330 PM EDT Tue Oct 14 2025

.DISCUSSION....Surface high pressure will continue to generally
remain dominant into the day on Saturday. This will lead to dry
weather and temperatures near seasonal normals. A dry cold front
will drop across east KY on Wednesday afternoon and evening,
ushering in drier air. This will result in colder overnight lows
than recent nights for Wednesday night and especially Thursday
night along with humidity falling into the 28 to 38 percent range
for most locations on Thursday and Friday. Another cold front will
bring some Gulf moisture north into the area this weekend, and
should result in a wetting rain to the area from Saturday night
through Sunday afternoon.
