Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
344 AM EDT Sat Aug 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...Outside of a few sprinkles across southern districts
this morning into early afternoon, conditions will be mostly
clear and dry this weekend. A stray shower or thunderstorm cannot
be completely ruled out Sunday afternoon in the far eastern
districts, but at this time is not likely. Cool and dry conditions
persist into Labor Day before rain chances increase especially
toward the middle of next week.
