Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
306 AM EST Mon Nov 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...After a cold start this morning, sunshine
and very low minimum relative humidity will prevail in the
afternoon, but northwesterly winds will be much lighter than on
Sunday. The dry low-level air mass will persist on ridges and
upper slopes through much of the evening and overnight tonight,
resulting in only moderate humidity recoveries. However,
a series of weather systems will then bring mild and more
unsettled weather at times from Tuesday into next weekend.
