Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
318 PM EDT Mon Oct 13 2025

.DISCUSSION....Seasonably mild and dry autumn weather continues
across eastern Kentucky, with mostly sunny days and clear nights.
Nocturnal inversions each night will lead to colder lows and higher
rh recoveries in valleys, while temperature remain similar through
Wednesday. Daily minimum RH levels will remain moderate through
Wednesday (35-50% for most locations), but are forecast to be
lower than that for Thursday and Friday following the passage of
a dry cold front Wednesday into Wednesday evening.
